Photograph the resembles the F64s

This photograph reminds me a lot of one of the pictures the F64 photographers took in the early 1900(except in color). The sharp focus of this photograph displays every detail, which is what the F64 photographers started doing after the pictorialism movement. They took sharper focused photographs because they wanted to start showing modern day life. Before, during the pictorialism movement, photofraphers wanted to take photograph the resembled other forms of art.
Also the way this picture is framed reminds me a lot of photographs the F64 photographers took. You see so much in this picture; the water, people, the mountains with trees, the mountains with snow, the sky, and the coulds.
The beauty of this picture is much like ones i've seen before in the 1900 from the F64 photographers.

Landscape Photograph

I chose this landscape of a beautiful palm tree overlooking the ocean front by Barry Collins. Barry Collins is an Australian landscape photographer. Collins takes beautiful landscape photographs and can be seen at his website http://www.barrycollins.com.au/

The lighting that hangs over the ocean horizon casts back shadows on the giant palm tree that rests on the seaside. I love how you can see all the detail in the trees roots and the texture of the tree bark. This landscape has very warm rich colors and you can tell by the light and shadow what kind of day it is.
